On the 10th of March 2019, with the co-sponsorship of Can Tho University and the MOMA Project, the Department of Chemistry and Department of Physics have successfully organized “The Natural Science Open-day” at the College of Natural Sciences, Can Tho University, Vietnam. Although it is the first time this activity was organized, it has attracted a great number of high school students not only from Can Tho city but also from other provinces in the Mekong Delta regions such as An Giang, Hau Giang, Soc Trang and Ca Mau.

Open Day was designed to gather information from the Departments of Chemistry and Physics in order to make it easier for participants to find out more about the courses on offer, and ask any question as they may have. A lot of attractive activities had been carried out during the event including tour of the facilities and interactive events. Participants had good opportunities to observe equipments in the laboratories, experience with Chemistry mini shows and taking part in a variety of Chemistry and Physics experiments. These experiments were designed in an educational and funny way that were greatly exciting and attracting to all participants.
