The MOU signing ceremony between Can Tho University (CTU), College of Natural Sciences (CNS) and Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research, Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland (INTIBSPAN) took place on August 15th, 2022.

       The ceremony was witnessed by (i) on behalf of CNS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thanh Phong – Dean of College of Natural Sciences (CNS); Assoc. Prof. Dr.Nguyen Thanh Tien – Vice Dean of the CNS; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phong - Head of  Department of Physics; Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong – Vice Head of  Department of Physics; and (ii) from INTIBSPAN, Prof. Wieslaw Strek, Dr. Pawel Gluchowski, Dr. Robert Tomala and Prof. dr. hab. Stefan Lis from Department of Rare Earths, Faculty of Chemistry, Adam Mickiewicz University.

       Besides, there was a participation of Prof. Le Quoc Minh, Vice President & Secretary General, Society of Materials Science of Viet Nam, who was a connector for two parties to have the agreement signing.

        The MoU identifies activities such as

(1) Exchange of professors, lecturers, research scholars and staff members;

(2) Exchange of undergraduate and graduate students;

(3) Exchange of scientific materials, publications and other information of mutual interest;

(4) Collaborative activities such as joint research, symposia, etc.

       This meaningful collaboration between CTU and INTIBSPAN followed up by several cooperative activities supporting both parties to take advantages of potential resources in the field of natural sciences which would bring mutual opportunities for sustainable development.
