Located in Can Tho city, College of Natural Sciences (CNS) is one of the college belongs to Can Tho Univesity (CTU), a center University of Mekong Delta with multi-majors training programs. CNS is carrying out the mission of teaching bachelor and master programs, conducting researches and transferring new technologies.

Besides, the College is responsible for teaching basic sciences subjects (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for all students from various training programs of CTU and other satellite Universities.
Currently, The College has 92 staffs (72 lecturers, 20 teaching assistants and office staffs). Among 72 lecturers, there are 16 associate professor, 32 doctors, 24 masters who are following Ph.D. Almost lecturers are full experience in teaching and doing research. They eagerly search for opportunities to study further. Multimedia and new teaching methods such as teaching based on real situations, self-discoveries, etc are also applied at the College.
Students are the first priority at the College. So, the College do pays attention to increase teaching potential: develop skillful staffs and apply modern facilities to improve teaching quality and looking forward to reaching national as well as regional standard. There are many kinds of books; scientific journals have been published by the College Lecturers.
Now, the College has 4 departments (Department of Mathematics, Department of Physics, Department of Chemistry and Department of Biology), 01 administrative office. There are also 15 classrooms, 27 laboratories, 02 computer room equipped with modern facilities and machine which are used for teaching and researching.
Especially, with the wide areas surrounding by trees, there are other places to play sports in the College (volleyball ground, table tennis yard, etc…). This is really an ideal place for students to learn and practice extracurricular activities.
