On 9 April 2025, the College of Natural Sciences had the honor of welcoming a delegation of professors from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) and Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) for a visit and working session.

The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tien – Vice Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Men – Vice Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Van Pham Dan Thuy – Director of the Center for Global Education; as well as representatives from the Departments of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, along with faculty members, students, and graduate students.

During the meeting, the two sides introduced overviews of organizational structures, main research directions, and undergraduate and graduate programs. The discussions focused on potential collaborations in academic research, student exchange programs, graduate scholarships, and short-term visit programs for faculty members. Special attention was also given to opportunities for cooperation in training and research in the field of semiconductor technology.

The meeting took place in a friendly and open atmosphere, yielding many positive outcomes. This visit once again re-affirmed the strong and enduring partnership between College of Natural Sciences and College of Science (NYCU). In the coming time, both sides will continue discussions to gradually implement the agreed areas of cooperation.
