On July 30, 2026, the College of Natural Sciences had the honor of welcoming a delegation from National Pingtung University (Taiwan) for a visit and working session.
The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Men – Vice Rector, along with representatives from the Departments of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Health Sciences. The delegation from the partner institution included:
- Prof. Dr. Hsungrow Chan - Head of the Faculty of Science
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jong-Chin Huang - Head of the Student Affairs Office
- Dr. Yo Chen – Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department
During the meeting, both sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in scientific research, full scholarships for master's and doctoral programs, student exchange programs, short-term work programs for faculty, and joint master's programs in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In the near future, both sides will continue to exchange ideas and proceed to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) as a basis for implementing the agreed-upon contents.
On this occasion, one undergraduate and one graduate student from the Faculty of Mathematics were selected to participate in an exchange program at National Pingtung University through the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP).
