On February 02, 2026, the College of Natural Sciences was honored to welcome a delegation from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU, Taiwan). The meeting was attended by lecturers, undergraduate and graduate students from the Chemistry Department and the Physics Department.

From the partner institution, the delegation included:

• Dr. Tak Chung Albert Yeung, Director of the International Department
• Dr. Hong-Cheu Lin, Vice Dean of College of Engineering
• Dr. Cheng-Sheng Huang, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering

together with other faculty members from NYCU.

During the working session, the two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in scientific research, fully funded master’s and doctoral scholarship programs, student exchange programs and short-term working programs for faculty members. At the end of the session, the professors interviewed candidates interested in short-term internship and postgraduate scholarship programs at NYCU.
