On February 11, 2025, the Department of Biology (College of Natural Sciences), in collaboration with the Department of Life Sciences (College of Health Sciences and Technology, National Central University), successfully organized a scientific conference titled “Application of Biological Products to Health and Life.”
The conference was honored to welcome distinguished scientists from prestigious institutes and universities in Taiwan, including:
- National Central University
- Institute of Environmental Health Sciences
- National Chengchi University
- Academia Sinica.
Additionally, the event gathered faculty members, students, and researchers from:
- Department of Biology and Department of Health Sciences (College of Natural Sciences)
- Institute of Biotechnology & Food Technology
- Department of Biology - School of Education.
The conference provided a platform for experts to present and discuss the latest research on biological products, aiming to enhance human health and environmental protection. Key topics covered in the discussions included:
- Applications of microbiological technology in food safety and environmental treatment.
- Utilization of animal-plant models and natural compounds in disease treatment, as well as controlling pathogens in crops and livestock.
