On 16 October 2023, the college had the privilege of welcoming Prof. David Yost from the Department of Mathematics, Australian Federation University. The meeting had the presence of lecturers, students, and graduate students of the Department of Mathematics.

     During the meeting, Prof. David Yost gave an academic talk on "Polyhedra, functional analysis, and approximation theory". Dr. Tran Ngoc Tam, from Mathematics Department, also contributed a presentation about on "The Gerstewitz function on linear spaces and its applications".
