On November 25, 2022, the college was honored to welcome Prof. Alex Smirnov and Prof. Tatyana Smirnova, from the Department of Chemistry, North Carolina State University (https://chemistry.sciences.ncsu.edu/). The meeting had the presence of Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Tien – Vice Dean, lecturers, undergraduate and graduate students in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

        During the meeting, the two professors gave a talk on "Magnetic resonance to study bio-nano interfaces". On the college side, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phi Oanh, from the Department of Biology, presented current results on "Anti-bacterial activities of biochemically synthesized chitosan and nano chitosan".

       Apart from introducing the Department of Chemistry and North Carolina State University, the professors also presented scholarship opportunities to study master's and doctoral programs at the university.
