On March 6, 2026, the College of Natural Sciences had the honor of welcoming a delegation from Sakata Cooperation (Japan) for a working visit to review the cooperation activities carried out in 2025 and to discuss and agree on several collaboration plans for 2026.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the Chemistry Department and the Physics Department, along with students interested in internship and employment opportunities at Sakata Cooperation. From the partner side, the delegation included:

  • Mituo Ogawa – Director of Craig Consulting, Advisor to the Cooperation
  • Show Asano – Director of J-Test Vietnam, Advisor to the Cooperation
  • Nguyen Tat Thanh – Head of Southern Sales Department, Hai Phong Group
  • Dang Truong Son – Head of Southern Regional Branch, Hai Phong Group

In 2025, two students from the College of Natural Sciences were officially recruited by Sakata Cooperation and are expected to begin working in October 2026. In 2026, Sakata Group will continue to sponsor three internship positions for students and graduate students of the College of Natural Sciences who wish to participate in an internship program at the Cooperation’s headquarters in Japan. Selected candidates will receive full financial support for round-trip airfare and accommodation during the three-week internship program. Upon completion of the internship program, candidates who meet the requirements will have one year to further improve their Japanese language proficiency before officially joining and working at Sakata Group.
